Realities, Gratitude, and Community Strength

Happy December, colleagues!

As the holiday season begins, we celebrate all the warmth it brings joy, connection, and gratitude. At the same time, we recognize that this season looks different for many women physicians. While festivities unfold around us, our hospitals, clinics, leadership roles, and families continue to need us with the same dedication and compassion we bring every day.

The responsibilities are many — caring for our patients, supporting our teams, showing up for our families, organizing school activities, preparing for gatherings, and keeping everything running smoothly at work and at home. It’s a full season, and we honor the strength, resilience, and heart that women physicians bring to every part of their lives.

At Tampa Female Physicians, we believe deeply in the power of community. This month, we encourage you to check in with one another a little more intentionally, lean on your support networks, and take moments to pause and recharge. We are here for one another always.

We are grateful for the partnerships and milestones that have shaped this year:

  • Mayor Castor and her team — thank you for your continued support of our mission.
  • FemHealthCares — thank you for inviting TFP to Washington, D.C., where we had the honor of attending your symposium and representing Tampa on a national stage.
  • Dr. Saya Nagori and Dr. Anjali Malik — thank you for championing and amplifying the work we do.
  • KMAK Fitness — thank you for sponsoring our Glowout Walk and supporting wellness in our community.
  • Dr. Onelia-Ramirez Cook and the Tampa Bay Women’s Physicians Association — we are grateful for your partnership and shared commitment to elevating and connecting women physicians across Tampa Bay.

As we close out 2025, we want to remind every woman physician reading this:
You are making an extraordinary impact. Your work, leadership, and presence continue to strengthen our community in meaningful ways.

Here’s to a strong finish to 2025 and a bright, purposeful, and inspiring 2026 ahead.

With Gratitude,
Tampa Female Physicians
